Please wear a tacky sweater. We will have a tacky sweater contest – the winner wins a $35 gift certificate to Wrong Iron – can be used there for bar tab or food they serve from their kitchen.

We are also collecting donations for the STEM Library Lab, a New Orleans non-profit providing classroom materials and other resources for teachers and students in public schools. Stay tuned for more details on that.

Luncheon at Ralph’s on the Park

Join AAF New Orleans, partnering with the American Marketing Association, for a delightful and delicious luncheon at Ralph’s On The Park on November 10. 

Nikki Villagomez will give a talk and lead a discussion on “How Culture Affects Typography”.

There will be a giveaway of one of Nikki’s books, to whomever submits the best example of local typography!

2nd Annual Student Marketing Plan Competition

Join AMA New Orleans on November 9th from 6-8pm to support local students as they compete for the winning spot pitching to a panel of judges. Student Teams have developed strategic marketing plans for a local wellness company to increase brand awareness and drive sales. Giving back to New Orleans while building their resume!

The American Marketing Association NOLA Chapter has teamed up with the AMA Tulane, the New Orleans Regional Black Chamber of Commerce, CILI (Corporate Internship Leadership Institute) and the Tulane Freeman Business School to organize a regional marketing competition providing undergraduate students with real world experience. The intent of this competition is to help a local company meet their business goals while giving students hands-on experience.

Kickoff Football Season with the Saints!

AMA New Orleans wants to invite our members & prospective members to mix & mingle at the Saints vs Texans pre-season game! Come cheer on our hometown, as we celebrate the start of football season, & even enjoy the opportunity of field access, as the Saints organization invited us to hold the American flag on the field during the National Anthem.
